Helicopter noise in Southern California and its impact on the community have become a heated issue in recent years, and the SoCal Rotors is leading the pack when it comes to educating the public about our mission and the ways that we do business.
As this discussion continues, it is more important than ever to make sure that we do everything possible to lower our noise footprint, and to remain knowledgeable about the concerns raised by the public and the areas where helicopter noise is an ongoing problem.
We originally released our first “Get Educated, Not Regulated!” booklet (as the PHPA) in 2015, and we’ve recently updated it with updated information to assist pilots with staying up-to-date with the latest information regarding helicopter operations in Southern California.
