The Board of Directors at SoCal Rotors reminds all helicopter pilots that we have successfully fought off similar legislation proposed by the Helicopter Noise Coalition here in Southern California by staying engaged at the table and attending monthly noise meetings overseen by the FAA.
We remind everyone that we must be cognizant of the feelings of those we fly over and make every attempt to fly neighborly, fly as high as safely possible, and avoid the areas over SoCal that are particularly sensitive to helicopter noise such as West Hollywood, the Hollywood Sign, the coastline, and the area south of Long Beach Airport to name a few!
